The Marshall House sponsored a quilt show from May 27 through July 1, 2006. 45 quilts were on loan from many generous people. The quilts, their current owners who were kind enough to loan them out, and other information about the quilts was all outlined in the June 2006 newsletter. If you need another copy, or would like to become a member of the Dayton Area Local Historical Society and start receiving the newsletters (or request a back issue), please print out this form and mail it to:

The united efforts of many individuals and organizations in the Dayton Local Area made possible the purchase, renovation and opening of the house to the public as a museum. The preservation of the Thomas Hindman Marshall House and its continued maintenance requires the devoted labors of many people who feel the project is worthwhile. There are plans to reconstruct other outbuildings and a barn, allowing the complex to accommodate a farm museum.

Please come and ENJOY a tour through the Thomas Hindman Marshall House!
